Last February 10, 2012, Friday afternoon at PSE Broker’s Lounge in Ayala Tower 1 Makati, Colayco Foundation for Education conducted Power of Two Pisobilities: Personal Finance and Successful Investing at Philippine Stock Exchange.

Promising PSE employees from various departments such as Office of the General Counsel, Board Secretariat, Support Services Groups and Operations Group were represented during the learning activity.  Mr. Armand Q. Bengco, CFE’s Executive Director began the powerful seminar about Personal Finance and Successful Investing for more than 60 employees of PSE. Employees were empowered with basic techniques of financial management particularly net worth planning. Mr. Francisco J. Colayco, best selling author and personal finance expert also shared techniques for successful investing which were highly rated by the employees during the evaluation.

Hans B. Sicat, President and CEO of the Philippine Stock Exchange closed the event saying: “Mr. Colayco shares the PSE’s vision in promoting a culture of savings and investments in the country. By starting and encouraging PSE employees to save and invest, we are in fact contributing to the financial wellness of our work teams which should hopefully be passed on to their immediate environs and communities.” Highlighting CFE amp; PSE’s partnership in advocating financial wellness, PSE Human Resources and Admin Department Head, Mr. Sebastian “Bass” E. Olaivar, Jr. ended the event saying: ‘It’s really more fun learning and investing in the Philippines!”
