Last September 14, Colayco Foundation gave triple financial treats for everyone who wants to make a difference in their financial lives.
Two seminars were held in the morning. The first one was INVESTability: Fixed-Income Instruments, which was held at Citystate Center in Pasig City. Participants were introduced to the world of fixed-income instruments and how they can utilize these investments in their particular goals. Ms. Guita Gopalan, Managing Director of Colayco Foundation, facilitated the seminar.
The other seminar in the morning was Pisobilities: Wealth Within Your Reach, which was held at the Ortigas Foundation Library. Mr. Armand Bengco, the Executive Director of Colayco Foundation, taught the attendees the crucial concepts of basic personal finance. He emphasized that mastering these concepts is a life-long commitment, especially if one wants to achieve the wealth that he/she so desires.
In the afternoon, participants helped themselves to INVESTability: Mutual Funds. Mr. Bengco introduced mutual funds as a potential investment for the participants to consider. He also taught them the fundamental strategies on investing in this particular kind of investment. Lastly, he emphasized that contrary to popular notions, there is no better time to invest than now. All it takes for the participants is to already start committing to growing their hard-earned money.

WITH MUTUAL FUNDS, YOU CAN!!!
Mutual funds are one of the most popular investments today. These are private companies that pool together money from different investors and invest it in various investments like stocks, government securities, and others (depending on the fund’s objective). Because of its simplicity and affordability, Mr. Francisco Colayco calls it “the great democratizer of investing.” Any ordinary income-earner can invest in it even without any investing experience at all. With just P5,000, you can start investing with any of the mutual fund companies in the country. Although returns are not guaranteed, historical returns range from 6%-20%, significantly higher than the current inflation rate!
Time to stop slouching and ride the growth train! To know more about mutual funds and how it can help you in your journey to wealth, join us in our upcoming seminar, Investability: Mutual Funds. For more details, check out the link here!
