“PISOBILITIES” is a portmanteau word coined by CFE. It refers to one’s ability to earn and manage his one peso and the possibilities of making that same one peso work for him. Each person’s financial profile should be like a one peso coin.  He has two sides that give him more than enough capacity to attain financial independence.  One side represents his ability to generate active income or the income earned when he invests his talent, sweat and time. The other side is his ability to generate passive income or the income earned from savings, otherwise known as investment income. He has to use these two capabilities at the same time.

Mary Anne B. Colayco

MARY ANNE B. COLAYCO is a happy wife, fulfilled mother of three beautiful and successful ladies, helpful mother-in-law of two handsome and entrepreneurial gentlemen, doting grandmother of two adorable girls and the diligent President of Colayco Foundation for Education (CFE) and a successful business person in her own right. For over 40 years, Mabsi, short for MAB-C, was in executive-level finance-related positions, as well as general management positions in Ayala Corporation subsidiaries (then, Pure Foods and Globe Telecom among others) and also served as a Commissioner of the Energy Regulatory Commission.

She joins her husband, author-entrepreneur Francisco J. Colayco in their common advocacy of teaching financial literacy to income-earning Filipinos. She shares with us her wealth of life experiences in giving advice on personal money management.

Armand Q. Bengco

ARMAND Q. BENGCO is the Executive Director of the Colayco Foundation for Education, Inc. and the General Manager of Kapatiran sa Kasaganaan Service & Multi-purpose Cooperative.

He hails from a family of established financial and investment practitioners. Having had a wide range of experience in personal finance, government, manufacturing, self employment and information technology, his immersion in several industries marks Mr. Bengco’s unique approach in guiding you on the basics of personal finance and investments in a manner that is easily appreciated  accompanied by timely market information and various investment options you can avail of.

Aside from managing the day to day and future plans & projects of the Foundation, Mr. Bengco hosts a cable TV program in Global News Network, PISObilities, a regular TV segment in The Filipino Channel (ANC) and another TV program in RHTV.  Mr. Bengco regularly conducts seminars and workshops in line with the Foundation’s advocacy.  He has been invited to speak for companies such as GMA Network, ABS-CBN Network, TV5, San Miguel Corp., Globe Telecom, Monterey Foods Corp., Business World, Wu Kong Ltd., Road Runner Productions, Visa International, Unilab, United Bayanihan Foundation, Far Eastern University, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, San Beda College, De La Salle University, Ateneo de Manila University and others.

He is regularly invited to speak in Hong Kong, has done a seminar or two in Singapore, Taiwan, Italy, Spain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He is also a favorite resource person of TV and radio shows like Unang Hirit of GMA Network, Kwentong Disyerto of TFC-ANC OF ABSCBN, Home Page of Net25, Radio Veritas, DWIZ, DZRH, DWXL, DZMM, DZBB and Boys Night Out of Magic 89.9.
