“PISOBILITIES” is a portmanteau word coined by CFE. It refers to one’s ability to earn and manage his one peso and the possibilities of making that same one peso work for him. Each person’s financial life should be like a one peso coin. One side represents his ability to generate active income or the income earned when he invests his talent, sweat and time. The other side is his ability to generate passive income or the income earned from savings, otherwise known as investment income. Together these two sides enable him to attain financial independence when utilized effectively.
This seminar will equip you with the basics of proper money management – spending, saving, planning & investing. It will help you realize the importance of having a financial goal and introduce you instruments and strategies on how you can achieve your financial goal/s.

The Colayco Foundation for Education continued its plan to spread its Financial Education advocacy, this time in the southern part of the Philippines.
In partnership with the Ateneo de Zamboanga University, CFE conducted the Pisobilities: WEalth Within Your Reach seminar in Zamboanga City last May 4.
Mr. Armand Bengco, Executive Director of the Colayco Foundation, took the opportunity to share how the Zamboangueños and other Mindanaoans can be wealthy through the right financial mindset and proper management of their personal finances. He also introduced Mutual Funds as a good investment vehicle that the participants can use in growing their money.
All throughout the seminar he emphasized that wherever you are in the Philippines, Manila or in Mindanao, our time is now and good or in Chavacano, “Nuestro tiempo es ahora”

Last April 26, the Ateneo de Manila University Human Resource Management Office put up a retirement program for the employees of the Ateneo de Manila University. The program is for people from the academe, administration and other staff.
The retirement program aims to prepare the retirees from the different changes that will take place when they retire from Psychological, Spiritual, Social and Financial. Ms. Maffy Lagrada-Batungbacal and Ms. Nikki Valenciano, organizers of the said event, invited the Colayco Foundation to help their staff in facing the new chapter of the life financially.
Mr. Armand Bengco, Executive Director of the Colayco Foundation, shared the first things that the retirees should prepare before they retire and pointed out some possible investment opportunities that the retirees might go into.
The Colayco Foundation left a final reminder: We retire from work, not in life. Thus, we should be ready ourselves to face that new phase in our life.
Are your employees approaching their twilight years? Why not let us help you with that. Colayco Foundation offers retirement seminars for corporations, associations, and other organizations. Just call 637-3731 or 637-3741 and look for Mr. James Gonzales.
Last May 14, the Colayco Foundation went to Dagupan City to conduct a Pisobilities: Wealth Within Your Reach Seminar. EDNAS School invited the Colayco Foundation headed by its Executive Director, Mr. Armand Bengco, to educate their faculty on proper financial management and investing.
Mr. Amado Garcia of First Metro Asset Investment Corp , was tapped by CFE to introduce Mutual Funds to the employees of EDNAS School and the wealth opportunities through investing. Also, the Kapatiran sa Kasaganaan Service and Muti-Purpose Cooperative (KSK-Coop), represented by Mr. Joel Cala, invited the participants to join the coop that provides various business and investment opportunities to its members.
Ms. Candy Bancaflor, owner of EDNAS School believes that this first step will ricochet from the faculty to their students, resulting to the child’s capability to manage his/her allowances and produce passive income through investing.
