Money Matters for Women
Posted on Sep 29, 2010Filipino women have a special role when it comes to handling family finances. With prudent money management, women can ensure their family’s financial security not just in the short term but also in the long run by teaching her children the right financial values. On the flip side, a woman who does not often leads her family into debt and other financial problems.
Money Matters for Women is a three hour edutainment style seminar specifically designed for women-mothers, daughters, single women, grandmothers… The basic personal finance concepts are approached from a practical woman’s perspective and with special consideration to women’s relational nature. Women participants are equipped not only with knowledge and skills in managing and planning their personal finance but also their family finances in an engaging manner.
In partnership with SM Supermalls and with the support of Nissan URVAN and PLDT Budget Card, the first run of Money Matters for Women was conducted in 14 SM Malls in Metro Manila and Luzon in 2009.
At present, there are no public events for Money Matters for Women which individuals can participate in.
