Money for Kids at De La Salle Zobel
Posted on Aug 13, 2012Last Saturday August 11, the students of De La Salle Zobel Grade School and their parents attended the Money For Kids Workshop thanks to the organizing efforts of the Parents Association of DLSZ Batch 2018.

Money For Kids is a workshop for children ages 7-13 and their parents about the basics of money. Not your typical lecture – Money For Kids utilizes aims to introduce children to basic concepts about money – what it is, why it exists, how it works and what to do with it.

To keep the children entertained Money Magician Emerson Ong showed the children some cool money tricks.

To educate the children, The Money Man Armand Bengco introduced the 3S Money Concepts to the Kids – Save (and Grow), Spend and Share by engaging the children in conversation and by showing cartoons that they could appreciate.
For the last segment of the program, the children got to make their own colorful Alkansyas while Armand Bengco and the parents had some discussions about investment options for their children’s future.

If you are interested in attending the Money For Kids Workshop the next one will be held in October. Contact renzie@colaycofoundation.com for more details.
