Frequently Asked Questions FAQs

What are the Risks in Joining KsKSMP Cooperative?

With all our good intentions, we cannot give any guarantee for your participation.

  1. Part only with your risk equity money, perhaps, no more than 30% of your investible cash available within the next 3 years.

  2. Risk of participation loss is remote especially when we are able to acquire our own bank.

  3. Liquidity is tight for the first two years. However, you can get your money back even within the first two years if you are willing to forego all your gains and membership fee.

  4. Note that we have an exit mechanism. Therefore, liquidity is determinable. Investments we make are leveraged to mitigate risks i.e risks are managed to prevent loss of principal.

  5. Only the member can determine for himself if his tolerance for risk will allow him to participate in KSK. If his participation is not large in relation to his present financial resources (which we always emphasize), his risk in participating in the coop would really be moderate.

  6. The upside of the participation in the coop is significant as the gains are not only in
financial terms but also in terms of OPPORTUNITY GENERATION, venture capital availability, as well as in increased financial literacy through the educational programs of the Coop. When we get to own the bank, even credit availability at better terms will be available to members. This is another potential benefit.

  7. In the end, the would-be member must make up his mind if he on his own, or through other means, he will have more financial gains compared to his potential benefits from KSK. THE KEY IS TO EVALUATE KSK MEMBERSHIP IN RELATION TO HIS FINANCIAL GOALS!
