Last Saturday Jan 28, the Colayco Foundation had one of its back to back seminars! This time it was a tandem of Pisobilities: Wealth Within Your Reach and InvestAbility: The Stock Market.

Pisobilities was all about the basics of personal finance. Mr. Armand Bengco, Executive Director of Colayco Foundation gave the talk to 28 participants introducing them to concepts of Passive and Active Income as well as Types of Expenses. The discussion also peeked into the basics of investing – buy investments vs. lend investments and the allies we have in growing our wealth.

Ms. Marie Mediatrix Sillona then joined Mr. Bengco and talked about the Stock Market. What is it? Why invest in it? What are the risks? How does one pick a stock and when to invest in a stock?

It was truly an exciting start for our 2012 line up of seminars and workshops!
